What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient labor and delivery coverage in a hospital-based setting
• Manage laboring patients and oversee labor floor activities
• Perform and manage patient inductions
• Perform cesarean sections
• Evaluate and treat gynecologic emergencies presenting through the Emergency Department
• Provide inpatient gynecologic consultations
• Document patient care using Cerner/Oracle EMR

What You Need

• OB/GYN physician experience in hospital-based inpatient care
• Experience managing labor and delivery patients
• Labor floor management experience
• Experience with inductions and cesarean sections
• Experience managing gynecologic emergencies
• Experience providing inpatient gynecologic consultations

About the Assignment This locum tenens assignment provides focused inpatient labor and delivery coverage at a leading facility in Pomona, New Jersey. The patient population consists of labor and delivery patients, with a daily census that varies from 1 to 9 laboring patients. Temporary privileges may be available, and the estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately three months.
