CDL A Driver Tanker & Hazmat Drivers for Cryogenics Out 21 Home 7 (Full Time) Types of Jobs: Dedicated Account Class A CDL Truck Drivers with hazmat and tanker endorsement run dedicated cryogenic account that pays a daily salary, has great home time along with fantastic benefits. If you do not have cryogenic experience, training is offered. You don’t have to have cryogenic experience, but you must have your tanker and hazmat endorsements at the time of application to qualify. First year pay ranges from $80K-$106K with drivers starting at $300.30 per day, increasing by $3 per day every six months up to a cap of $324 per day. If willing to train new hires in cryogenics, an additional $100 per day is earned. Training is “shadow” training: you run your truck while your trainer runs theirs, without shared cab or double bunking. Drivers are paid $125 per day and receive a $1,000 bonus at the end of training. Trucks are 579 Petes with automatic transmission; no slip seating. Full benefits begin after 60 days, including one week vacation in the first year, comprehensive medical coverage, and 401(k) with matching contributions. Drivers run dedicated regional or local accounts and must be willing to operate in all 48 states. Opt‑out of any region is not permitted. During home breaks, the company pays for round‑trip flights. If within 200 miles, drivers may drive home. Standard schedule is 21 days out and a maximum of 7 days home, with flexibility to stay out longer than 21 days as long as the maximum home time per stay does not exceed 7 days unless taking allotted vacation. Must be willing to fly home; not willing pilots cannot be hired. Any felony convictions disqualify applicants. Failed or refused DOT drug tests (regardless of SAP completion) disqualify applicants. Requirements At least one year of OTR or regional driving within the last three years. Clean MVR (no more than five Class A CDL driving jobs in the last five years).
