Experienced Automotive Service Technician

Horne Freedom Ford in Thatcher, AZ is looking for an experienced Ford Certified Service Technician to join its service team. We are looking for a technician with 5+ years of technician experience, and a Ford certification is preferred. Day to day, it means working through a full range of diagnostic and repair work with the accuracy and efficiency that comes from real experience. What You'll Do

• Execute all repair work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose issues across engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems
• Use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to test vehicle components and systems
• Test-drive vehicles before and after service to verify repair quality and confirm performance
• Inform the Service Advisor of any additional service needs identified and provide accurate time estimates
• Process warranty repairs in full compliance with Ford manufacturer specifications and documentation requirements
• Document all findings and completed work accurately on each repair order

What We're Looking For

• Ford certification preferred
• 5+ years of service technician experience preferred
• B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Prior Ford dealership experience preferred
• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Strong hand-eye coordination and the dexterity required for precision repair work
• Basic computer competency and ability to learn new repair procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
