Runner & CustodianReports to: ControllerEmployment Status: Full Time, Hourly Non-ExemptLocation: San Antonio, Monterrey Iron and ToucanBasic Purpose:This role is key to the facility's production and operations. The main purpose of this position is to pick up and deliver parts, materials, and items that are needed for the facility. Deliveries need to be completed in an efficient and timely manner. It requires multitasking on several fronts to ensure operational effectiveness and departmental efficiency.Job ResponsibilitiesDeliver and pick up parts and equipment from various locationsEnsure to obtain any signatures on any deliveries.Pick up and deliver lunch daily. Verifying order is correct prior to leaving restaurant.Maintain cleanliness of Runner Truck to include inside and outside.Make sure registration is up to date.Follow instructions placed on dry erase boardEmergencies will be called in on the company phone and instructions given.Parts requests including requests from the yard are to be communicated to purchasing directly.Runs are to be completed before 3:30pm unless otherwise advised.Use best routes, drive safely, get in and out of vendor/supplier sites as quickly as possibleDo not begin daily runs until after all cleaning is complete, unless otherwise advisedCleaningSweep/vacuum every morning at 7:30 and afternoon at 4:00pmMop floors every morning by 8:00amClean toilet surfaces, seats, sinks in each bathroom dailyWash bowl of all toilets every FridayWipe down any open desk surfacesCollect and discard all trash and recycling bins at each desk and breakroom dailyWipe down tables & counter tops in all breakrooms and discard any trashMain Custodian's cleaning priority will be the main officeThe Runner's cleaning priority will be to be outside breakroomGeneral MaintenanceRestock toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer as neededRestock vending machines as needed, notify front office of low inventory in frozen vending machineCheck/replace air filters throughout office weeklyBlow/clean out AC coils weeklyBlow out AC handlers weeklyClean ice machine weeklyClean eye wash stations monthlyBlow out computers monthlySpecial projects as needed may include moving furniture, storage items, painting, etcTool Room CustodianKeep supply room organized, neat and cleanMaintain tool check out log and control inventoryNotify purchasing when inventory levels are lowMake hydraulic hoses as neededPunctuality & AttendanceThis position requires good attendance and punctuality.BenefitsMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance401KPaid HolidaysPTOPPE providedTools necessary providedBonuses regularly based on PEPWorking ConditionsFlexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends and/or holidays as needed.
