Albedo is making Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) mainstream, building the infrastructure to usher every satellite mission set into this new orbital domain. We build buses, integrated satellites, and turnkey missions for customers to thrive in VLEO, between 250 km - 400 km, where proximity compounds performance and drag self-cleans debris.

About This Role:

Albedo is redefining how to meet USG mission objectives from very low Earth orbit, and our national security business is scaling quickly. We're building out our BD team and hiring a Business Development and Capture Manager to leverage trusted customer relationships across the DoW and IC and convert mission challenges into captured opportunities. You'll help set the direction as much as execute it; shaping strategy, teaming, and win approaches alongside our capture and engineering teams.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as a primary customer-facing point of contact for assigned government and commercial accounts
• Define and execute business development and campaign strategies
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and mission owners
• Identify, qualify, and shape new opportunities aligned with Albedo's capabilities
• Support capture strategy development including value propositions, teaming, and win approaches
• Manage multiple campaigns, coordinating with capture and engineering support as needed
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure proposed solutions reflect mission realities
• Support proposal shaping, executive reviews, and customer engagement activities

Your Ideal Skills and Experience:

• Experience in national security space or government acquisition, either from the industry BD/capture side or the government side (program managers, contracting officers, COTRs who understand how buyers evaluate)
• Recent USG experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of relevant mission areas such as ISR, GEOINT, SIGINT, AMTI, multi-domain killchains, space warfighting, or space domain awareness (SDA)
• Demonstrated success supporting or leading capture campaigns
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and long-term campaigns
• Excellent communication skills across technical, operational, and executive audiences
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Based in Broomfield, CO or National Capitol Region

Nice to Have For This Role:

• Mission-domain fluency in at least one of: VLEO, EO, active/passive RF, SDA
• Existing network across government or IC agencies and mission partners
• Experience supporting classified programs
• Product or mission integration experience
• Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment in sensitive environments
• Active security clearance

Salary Range:

$134,525 - $164,214
