Ultrasound Tech, PRNOperates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.*Ultrasound Tech in Vascular DepartmentOperates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.Qualifications:EducationAn approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT. Required orWork ExperienceNo experience required Required1 year of experience PreferredLicenses and CertificationsARDMS/ARRT(s) registry eligible Required andBCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and(BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS)Eastside Medical Center
