ParalegalParalegal needed for a law firm in Newport Beach. Main practice areas include real estate, Landlord/Tenant and Civil Litigation.This is an immediate need for Temporary with possibility of growing to Temporary to Hire Paralegal. Work 30-40 hours/week with pay at $95,000 - $110,000/yr, depending on experience with opportunity for growth, plus excellent benefits, if hired. This will include medical (PPO or HMO), dental and a simple IRA if hired on. This position is 100% ONSITE. This firm has a great culture and believes in a work / life balance. Ideal candidate will join this firm and support their robust civil matters and be able to dive into supporting the existing files, as well as:Creating captions for litigation mattersRecord and track deadlines through docketing and calendar systeme-filing experience in California, both State and Federal courtProof and finalize correspondence, pleadings, discovery, motions, and prepare routine shell macrosAbility to prepare and file pleading documents and discovery documents while consulting with the attorneyIdeal candidate would have the following:Min of 3 years of Paralegal experience.Experience with billing for some of their paralegal work to client files is a plus.Must have experience supporting civil litigation matters, discovery and superior calendaring skills in managing these files with the attorneys.Must have experience with case maCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $45.67 - $52.88 Per Hour
