Acts as a resource to all employees by providing information and answers to HR-related questions. This is an entry level HR role that works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities Supports operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with safety Promotes and supports Bemis health and wellness initiatives Performs general administrative duties including communications and postings, making copies, filing, assembling new hire packets, etc. Accountable for accurate data entry, understanding current Workday processes, and partnering with business leaders to ensure data integrity Works on miscellaneous HR projects Assists with the coordination of employee events May be responsible for the processing of payroll utilizing Kronos Responsible for hiring, interviewing, onboarding, new hire orientation, employee training, etc. Partners with leaders to assist employees on HR topics including but not limited to explanation of benefits, payroll issues, workers compensation, STD, unemployment, and other HR information Assists with company-wide processes such as annual enrollment, performance management, biometric testing, etc. Coordinates, documents, and maintains internal job transfers, seniority lists, and associated data Responsible for tracking attendance and discipline Maintain current, accurate and confidential personnel records for hourly and salaried employees Protects employee data and handles all information with integrity and confidentiality Support HR Service Delivery Model and encourage employees to leverage the model Provide employees and leaders with accurate and timely information Accuracy of data entry
