Position Summary: Join the Freshlo Team and be part of a multidisciplinary group offering trauma‑informed, culturally responsive services to the communities of Montbello, Green Valley Ranch, and the far northeast. We are dedicated to supporting youth and families in achieving mental health and overall well‑being. We are seeking a Master’s‑level intern (MSW or Counseling) passionate about community‑based mental health. This internship offers hands‑on clinical experience working with children, adults, and families across the lifespan in a highly diverse environment. The intern will provide: Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Parent‑focused Treatment, and Group Therapy with Trauma‑Informed Interventions. This is a NON‑PAID student intern opportunity. Duties & Functions: Following an initial period of training and shadowing opportunities, the student will ultimately participate in all core clinical services offered through our Freshlo Hub. Students will perform duties of a Freshlo therapist which will include initial assessment and diagnosis, individual therapy, family therapy, case management, and psychoeducation. The student will participate in a minimum of 1 hour of weekly individual supervision while also having the opportunity to participate in additional small group supervisions, case consultations, internal agency trainings, and team meetings. Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing. Perform other duties as assigned. 1 LCSW/LPC Supervisor and 1 LCSW Program Manager. Requirements & Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral Students in Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy, or other related human services field with an emphasis on clinical work. Title and Hours required: A minimum of 10 hours per week (15‑20 hours preferred) along with a 9–12‑month commitment.
