Senior Systems Engineer

Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Pay : 125-150k/ year Responsibilities Actively recommend, design, and implement enhancements to current tools and technologies. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Coordinate, collaborate, and execute on projects within the Infrastructure Systems domain, often requiring in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes. Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for technical issues and challenges. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption based on business needs and industry trends. Contribute to and enforce best practices for system security, performance, and reliability. Perform a range of business-critical technical functions including, but not limited to: Windows server administration, Data Center maintenance and management, observability tool configuration and management, patching and vulnerability management, incident response and resolution, documentation and reporting, and security compliance. Strong experience implementing solutions that support High Availability, Data Center Resiliency, and Business Continuity. Expert-level knowledge of Windows operating system; familiarity with Linux is a plus. Proven track record of leading complex IT projects from conception to completion. Strong experience with enterprise-level infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, storage, and networking. Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Windows Server, Azure, Exchange/M365, Cohesity, PureStorage, VMware ESXi, LogicMonitor, and Ivanti Service Manager. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree). 5+ years of experience in systems administration roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership position. Relevant certifications such as MCSE, VCP, CompTIA Security+, etc. are desired.
