Service Dispatcher

Reports To: Reports to Manager – Service

Schedule and dispatch technicians for service, maintenance, and emergency repair calls. Coordinate daily routes, communicate service status, and support timely completion of dispatched work while providing courteous customer service and accurate updates to internal and external customers.

· Receive customer service calls and dispatch technicians to appropriate service locations.

· Schedule daily service, maintenance, and emergency repair calls based on technician availability and customer needs.

· Communicate work order details, schedule changes, and service updates to technicians, customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

· Monitor technician locations and progress throughout the day to help maintain efficient dispatch flow.

· Provide technicians with relevant route, customer, equipment, traffic, weather, or access information needed to complete assigned calls.

· Document customer requests, service updates, call notes, and services performed in the appropriate system.

· Confirm technician time and basic work order information for billing handoff.

· Coordinate tools, parts, or inventory needs related to dispatched service orders as directed.

· Escalate scheduling conflicts, customer concerns, or service issues to the manager as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

· High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

:

· 0-1 year of dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or related administrative experience preferred.

· Ability to organize schedules, prioritize service calls, and adjust dispatch plans throughout the day

· Clear verbal and written communication with customers, technicians, coworkers, and supervisors

· Attention to detail when documenting work orders, call notes, and service updates

This job operates in a professional office environment. Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
