Senior Engineering Support Specialist

Salary: $106,477 - 115,212 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering, a related specialized field, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience, plus 5 years of applicable experience.
• Alternatively, we accept a Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• We require eligibility to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance within a reasonable period after hire.
• Applicants must be able to pass a U.S. Government security investigation and satisfy access requirements for classified information.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

• We apply systems engineering principles across the full life cycle, including requirements analysis, functional analysis, performance assessment, system design, trade studies, integration and test, validation, and interface definition.
• We use MBSE and digital engineering tools to develop, maintain, and communicate architectures, models, and designs.
• We identify, analyze, and resolve system design issues while supporting engineering decisions on a complex, long-duration program.
• We perform technical planning, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness assessments for subsystems and system elements.
• We develop and allocate system requirements to lower-level components and support customer requirements analysis.
• We research vendor offerings, COTS items, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to assess design feasibility.
• We design complete and complex frameworks, systems, or products.
• We support modeling and simulation activities aligned with program objectives.
• We produce technical engineering deliverables using approved standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• We evaluate systems to ensure designs meet applicable security specifications and may support accreditation, certification, and security documentation.
• We plan and execute project tasks, contribute to major program milestones, and support business objectives.
• We identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
• We may provide guidance or leadership to lower-level team members.
