Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and lifestyle adjustments for long-term recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Utilize innovative techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Opportunities available in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with a preference for pediatric experience, but comfort with adult orthopedics is essential
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Oregon Physical Therapist License (or eligibility for licensure)
- CPR and BLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to care
- Pediatric experience is preferred, but comfort with adult orthopedics is also essential
