POSITION OVERVIEW:

Nestlé Health Science is seeking an analytics leader to develop, analyze, evaluate, communicate, and operationalize the insights, models, reporting, and customer-facing supply chain programs that drive decision-making. This role blends deep technical capability in Snowflake data engineering, Power BI dashboard design, and advanced customer and network analytics with the business fluency to translate ambiguous needs into scalable solutions and measurable outcomes across cost, service, growth, and customer experience.

Beyond reporting, this is a strategic and customer-facing role. The Lead will define and improve high-complexity, high-visibility customer supply chain programs; build network and cost-to-serve models; analyze customer ordering behavior and on-shelf availability; and partner across Customer Facing Supply Chain, Sales, Planning, Strategy, and Operations to identify root causes, implement solutions, strengthen customer relationships, and reduce total delivered cost.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain data pipelines, semantic models, and analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and performance across supply chain domains.
• Design and own Power BI dashboards and paginated reports that support daily operations, exception management, and leadership review — building both tabular and visualization outputs as business needs evolve.
• Integrate data from primary and secondary sources (SAP, Snowflake, 3PL/THUB feeds, Amazon Vendor Central, JDE) using multiple ingestion methods, with minimal dependence on external resources.
• Define daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements and drive new applications, refreshable analyses, and automation that accelerate the process-improvement curve.
• Design and maintain network models that evaluate boundary alignments, customer sourcing guidelines, throughput, and distribution strategy — translating scenario results into actionable recommendations for Strategy, Planning, and Operations.
• Analyze customer data and ordering profiles (SKU velocity, order frequency, customer hierarchy, and customer profiles) to understand behavior, model future-state volume shifts, and quantify impacts to cost, service, and operations.
• Identify optimization opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain — full-pallet/full-layer ordering, DC re-mapping, payload utilization, and inventory positioning — and partner cross-functionally to deliver against a defined business need.
• Apply statistical techniques and data mining to interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets, perform extensive data validation, and predict behavior across the customer base.
• Partner with business partners to scope new developments, pressure-test assumptions, and find data-driven solutions — serving as a trusted advisor throughout approval and execution.
• Develop cost-to-serve models grounded in order-to-cash knowledge (handling, linehaul/fuel, storage, accessorials, refusals) to compare customers, isolate cost drivers, and guide win-win conversations.
• Deliver on-shelf availability and lead-time analysis that connect upstream planning and execution decisions to the customer experience and service commitments.
• Partner with business stakeholders to scope new developments, pressure-test assumptions, co-develop solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor through approval, implementation, and adoption.
• Apply statistical techniques and data mining to interpret trends and patterns, validate complex data, predict behavior, identify inefficiencies, perform root-cause analysis, and quantify losses and opportunities.
• Present compelling, insight-led storytelling — visualizing data in clear formats and preparing monthly presentations so results, trends, and risks are understood by leadership and customer-facing teams.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Supply Chain, Analytics, Engineering, Business, or related); equivalent combination of education and related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years of data management and analysis experience is preferred with at least 3 years working within a Supply Chain function.
• Relevant experience with consumer-packaged goods (CPG) / consumer products is a strong plus.
• Exposure to network modeling / scenario tools (e.g., Llamasoft/optimization modeling) and order-to-cash processes is highly desirable.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (star-schema design, data products, query performance) and advanced Power BI / Business Intelligence report and dashboard development is nice to have.
• Knowledge of SAP and supply chain data structures; advanced MS Excel (modeling, advanced functions, macros) would be beneficial.

SKILLS:

• Strong quantitative skills — able to develop and use metrics and visuals to lead root-cause analysis and optimization.
• Working knowledge of network / distribution concepts: boundary alignment, customer sourcing, cost-to-serve, on-shelf availability, and lead-time analysis.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues, and to understand database structure and business processes independently and in a team.
• Customer-centric and service-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance Nestlé and customer objectives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics into clear business narratives.
• Proven ability to influence without authority and to lead, take direction, and collaborate across diverse business functions.
• Customer-facing presence and business partnering skills to co-develop solutions with internal and external stakeholders.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Strong preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey, Arlington, Virginia, or Solon, Ohio.

Salary: $112,680.00 to $154,385.00 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
