What You Will Do:

• Provide attentive small animal care, safely restrain patients, and promote a calm, fear-conscious experience for pets throughout their visit.
• Prepare patients and surgical suites for procedures, assist the veterinarian and veterinary assistants, and maintain high standards of surgical preparation.
• Monitor anesthesia, surgical patients, fluid therapy, and patient recovery with close attention to detail and prompt communication with the medical team.
• Perform clinical and diagnostic support duties, including digital radiography, laser, administering vaccines, nail trims, and animal handling.
• Educate clients with empathy and clarity, helping pet owners understand treatment plans, home care instructions, preventive care, and their pet’s wellbeing.
• Support kennel duties and maintain clean, organized, compassionate spaces for veterinary patients, boarding guests, and daycare animals.

What You Bring:

• You hold current Certified Veterinary Technician credentials, or meet applicable Pennsylvania requirements for a veterinary technician role.
• You bring hands-on experience in small animal medicine, veterinary assisting, animal restraint, and patient care.
• You demonstrate confidence and sound judgment while monitoring anesthesia, surgical procedures, and recovering patients.
• You communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, veterinarians, and teammates in a busy animal care environment.
• You are dependable, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to animal welfare, safety, and excellent service.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Cornesstone practice management software is a plus, digital radiography, fluid therapy, and client education is valued. Candidates with experience as a veterinary nurse who are ready to expand their clinical responsibilities are encouraged to apply.

• Earn a competitive hourly rate of $25 to $28, based on experience and qualifications.
