PRN Occupational Therapist

Role Overview: The occupational therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to restore or improve patients' daily living activities, mobility, cognitive function, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are provided across the continuum, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Develops and revises treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families. Provides patient education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources. Collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs and discharge plans. Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries per departmental protocols. Ensures adherence to ethical standards, maintains confidentiality, and fosters teamwork. Demonstrates excellent communication, participates in staff meetings, and supports professional development. Maintains infection control and safety standards while delivering care. Qualifications & Skills: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
