Worth. This position requires on-site support and will be worked out of the Ft. Worth Location, with occasional travel (10%) to San Diego for training.The Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance as part of a deployment team and perform hands-on technical tasks during system installation and integration activities.Key Responsibilities:Conduct integration activities in a dedicated lab environment, coordinating with customersOperate, calibrate, and maintain a multi-vendor lab environment (digital, fiber, 1394 bus systems)Perform digital-bus troubleshooting and fault-code interpretation for PHMResolve integration issues in a proactive, self-managed mannerApply RF experience for signal integrity, interference mitigation, and test proceduresWork with Anonymous Subscriber Messaging protocol, ensuring secure, compliant data exchangesAttend quarterly training sessions in San DiegoProvide timely remote status updates to management and customersAbility to work autonomously with minimal supervisionMaintain good customer relationsThis position is contingent upon program/task award, customer approval and clearance.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in STEM field with 12 years of experience; 10 years with a Master's Degree; 8 years with a Ph.D., 4 years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree.Laboratory integration experienceHave an active US Government Secret security clearanceCandidate must be willing to work extended hours and non-standard shifts.Ability to operate, calibrate, and maintain a multi-vendor lab environment (digital, fiber, 1394 bus systems)Experience with RF and digital testing and troubleshootingPreferred Qualifications:Fighter Aircraft support equipment or aircraft experienceCNI integration and test experienceFamiliarity with DoD maintenance manuals and military standard maintenance practicesWorking knowledge of engineering tools such as PDMAbility to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) clearancePrimary Level Salary Range: $153,600.00 - $230,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
