Job Description

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience or genuine interest in working with school-aged children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Organizational and documentation proficiency
• Adaptability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Assess students physical abilities and develop effective therapy goals
• Provide direct physical therapy sessions individually and in groups
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy into the classroom environment
• Document progress, maintain therapy records, and provide regular updates to families and staff
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student mobility and participation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
