Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years License: RN License required Certifications: CCRN preferred, but not required Must-Have Skills/Experience: Acute care nursing experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg. The unit has a total of 95 licensed beds. Services include Bariatrics, Family Medicine, Inpatient Rehab, Internal Medicine, Lab, Counseling Center, Occupational Health, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Surgery, and Urgent Care. The patient population includes adults, geriatrics, orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputations, and traumatic brain injuries. The typical patient ratio is 5:1. Occasional floating to Med/Surg is required as needed. Teamwork and collaboration are essential for this role. Experience in rehabilitation, including documentation and GG scoring, is preferred. The equipment utilized includes Omnicell and the electronic health record system is Meditech. No on-call requirements exist for this position. The dress code requires scrubs, and any color is acceptable.
