Teaching hospital with opportunities for professional development. The facility consists of private rooms and provides a supportive environment for both patients and staff. The RN role involves caring for a mix of geriatric and adult patients. Patient ratios are typically 1:4, with accommodations of 1:3 for higher acuity needs. The position requires participation in weekend shifts as needed. Strong clinical skills in EKG interpretation and respiratory care are essential. Common patient diagnoses include alcohol detox, post-procedure care, diabetic ketoacidosis, and various cardiac conditions.
