Contract Specialist

Position Overview SD Solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to provide cradle-to-grave acquisition support to the U.S. Air Force's 47th Contracting Squadron. The successful candidate will support acquisition planning, solicitation development, proposal evaluation, contract award, contract administration, modifications, option exercises, and closeout activities supporting military construction and complex service contracts. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Minimum 5 years of Department of Defense contracting experience. Experience supporting construction and complex service acquisitions. DoD Contracting Professional Certification or FAC-C Professional (or equivalent). Minimum 24 semester hours in business-related coursework (accounting, finance, contracts, business law, economics, purchasing, marketing, quantitative methods, or related fields). Experience supporting source selections. Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS. U.S. citizenship. Preferred Qualifications Previous Unlimited Contracting Officer Warrant. Air Force contracting experience. Construction acquisition experience. Active Secret Clearance. Experience with military construction contracts. DAWIA or FAC-C Level III equivalent.
