Job Opportunity: General Gastroenterology Physician

We are excited to announce an opening for a General Gastroenterology Physician at our organization, specifically at Mount Sinai South Nassau. Our division is looking to grow and is open to applications from both recent graduates in Gastroenterology and experienced mid to senior-level faculty members.

Located in Oceanside, NY, Mount Sinai South Nassau serves as the flagship hospital for Long Island within our health system. This award-winning, not-for-profit teaching hospital is one of the largest in the region, featuring 455 beds, over 900 physicians, and a dedicated team of 3,500 employees. The hospital is conveniently situated about 30 minutes from New York City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care in general gastroenterology.
• Engage with patients and staff to foster a culture of safety and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a New York Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact at all organizational levels.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position ranges from $325,000 to $425,000, excluding bonuses and additional incentive compensation. Please note that actual salaries may vary based on factors such as experience, specialty, historical productivity, and community needs. The listed salary range pertains to full-time employment and does not encompass bonuses or benefits.
