Key Responsibilities Develop and expand a diverse loan portfolio through proactive business development, networking, and community involvement Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to deepen and grow accounts Analyze financial statements, assess credit risk, and structure loan solutions across commercial, real estate, SBA, consumer, and equipment lending Cross‑sell banking products and services to support overall relationship growth Stay informed on market trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal credit policies Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to deliver a high‑touch, customer‑focused experience Resolve complex lending issues, negotiate terms, and make sound credit recommendations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field 5+ years of lending experience within a financial institution Proven success in business development and relationship management Formal commercial credit training required (Graduate School of Banking preferred) Strong financial analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management skills Knowledge of lending regulations, policies, and market dynamics Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and financial systems Excellent communication, negotiation, and client‑facing skills Location & Culture This position is based in Mulvane, Kansas , located just 20 minutes from Wichita.
