Job Opportunity: Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to enhance our growing MFM team in Albany, New York. This role is situated in our newly updated office at 400 Patroon Creek Blvd, Albany. Inpatient consultations will take place at St. Peters Hospital.

As a member of the MFM team, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of specialists to provide exceptional care for women experiencing high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive fetal anatomy ultrasounds and consultations in partnership with our obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiology, neurology, and endocrinology colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in a four-day clinical work week.
• Deliver expert care for high-risk pregnancies in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary care model.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including ultrasounds and advanced imaging.
• Utilize advanced technologies and clinical resources.
• Serve a diverse patient population with varying levels of pregnancy risk.
• Consultative practice with strong collaborative relationships with community providers.
• Work with a dedicated office staff known for their exceptional longevity, ensuring smooth operations and robust support.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Open to new graduates; experience in a community-based, high-volume setting is advantageous.
• A strong commitment to teamwork and excellence in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits:

Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Base salary ranging from $475,000 to $525,000. This figure represents the starting range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other cash compensation applicable to the role.
• A starting bonus of $25,000.
• A retention bonus of $15,000 for the second and third years.
