Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Newborn Nursery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: NRP required, PALS and STABLE preferred Must-Have: NRP certification, experience in Newborn Nursery Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Newborn Nursery. The nurse will work with newborns, primarily those between 36-41 weeks gestation. Responsibilities include providing care to infants in a Level II NICU setting. Patient ratios are typically 1:4. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and demonstrate strong clinical skills. Experience in Newborn Nursery is essential. Familiarity with EHR systems is beneficial. Additional duties may involve assisting in postpartum or labor and delivery areas, but the nurse will not take assignments in those units. The team values a collaborative work environment focused on high-quality patient care. Applicants must have the ability to work every other weekend and be flexible with shift responsibilities. Dress code requires the wearing of personal scrubs. This position serves as a replacement for permanent staff.
