Physician - Neonatology Profession: Physician Specialty: Neonatology Duration: Permanent Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts Hours per Shift: 24 Experience: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine; fellowship completed prior to start License: New York license required or willing to obtain Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible Must-Have: Recent NPDB Self Query report (within 30 days active); DEA must be obtained prior to start Description:Seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist to join a dynamic team in a scenic region.Candidates should be strong clinicians who work well in teams and adhere to evidence-based guidelines.The role involves providing high-quality care in a Level III NICU.Block scheduling is utilized, allowing for flexibility in living arrangements.Neonatal Nurse Practitioners provide 24-hour in-house coverage, transport call, and attend high-risk deliveries.Services include conventional ventilation and HFOV in a 20-bed NICU.The facility has an average of 1,500 deliveries per year with nearly 300 NICU admissions and a daily census of 13-15.Approximately 15-20 percent of admissions are transports from surrounding hospitals.Excellent nursing support and pediatric subspecialty consultation are available.Comfortable distance from desirable suburbs and local universities.Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and hold an active New York license.Recent NPDB Self Query report is required, as well as obtaining a DEA prior to starting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
