Clinical Child and Pediatric Psychologist, Department of Pediatrics University of Virginia School of Medicine – Department of Pediatrics. The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full‑time clinical track faculty psychologist in Pediatric Psychology and Behavioral Health to provide clinical services and education in our new outpatient Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health clinic. The focus will be providing general child and adolescent mental health services. The clinic partners with developmental and behavioral pediatrics, integrative medicine, and psychiatry, serving all children regardless of insurance status or language preference. Responsibilities Outpatient mental and behavioral health assessment and intervention for children and adolescents with a wide range of presenting concerns. Consultation to medical and interprofessional teams. Teaching medical fellows, residents, and medical students. Participation on departmental and health system committees. Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to our institutional core values and experience working with diverse children and families. Generalist training and experience in child and adolescent mental health care is strongly preferred. Qualifications Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. or equivalent from an APA‑accredited program, have completed an APA‑accredited internship, be licensed or license‑eligible in Virginia, and be skilled in interprofessional practice in a complex, academic medical environment. Must also obtain board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology once eligible.
