We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, consultant payroll and invoicing, and multi-state compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, and month-end closePrepare financial reports, reconciliations, and billing analysesOversee consultant timesheets, invoicing, and payroll via ATS and ADPEnsure accurate billing and payroll data in CRM and databases.Maintain compliance with multi-state payroll, unemployment, and workers' compSupport consultant onboarding/offboarding, tax, and insurance documentationCoordinate with HR on benefits, terminations, and employment verificationsQualificationsPrior payroll, xhyhwjd onboarding and client invoicing experienceStrong working knowledge of ExcelSolid understanding of multi-state payroll and tax complianceLocation: On-site | Purchase, NYIdeal: 5+ years of accounting experience; staffing or professional services preferred
