Facilities Manager

:We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manage r to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Semiconductor research and manufacturing facility in Fremont, CA. This role will be responsible for managing engineering services, ensuring a high standard of service delivery, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing or R&D facilities management, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving . Key Responsibilitie s:Oversee the daily operations of building services, including maintenance and vendor managemen t.Manage 10+ direct reports, providing leadership, guidance, and performance managemen t.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulation s.Coordinate and oversee maintenance of critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbin g.Manage vendor contracts and service agreements to ensure quality and cost-effectivenes s.Work closely with internal stakeholders to address facilities-related needs and support business operation s.Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring cost-effective management of resource s.Implement sustainability initiatives and operational improvement s.Respond to and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manne r.Qualifications & Experienc e:5+ years of experience in facilities management within a engineering environmen t.Experience managing direct reports and working with external vendor s.Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance requirement s.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skill s.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectivel y.
