This position reports to:
Sales Manager

Drives and implements marketing activities for NASCAR in line with the agreed strategy. Conducts market analyses using available marketing tools for existing and potential products, systems, and/or service. Creates end-user acceptance and specification offerings tailored to NASCAR. Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and continuously monitors performance.
Key Responsibilities
Electrification & NASCAR Business Development Support
Support national sales teams with customer engagement initiatives related to NASCAR events and other corporate events
Help coordinate cross-functional activities utilizing NASCAR assets
Coordinate customer events, meetings, and communications, including working with the local sales teams to increase awareness and attendance at the events in their areas.
Assist with CRM updates and post-event reporting.
Coordinate with the marketing teams to ensure brand/messaging coordination
Represent ABB at key NASCAR non-race events and meetings throughout the country.
Assist with reporting, budgeting, cost control, and procurement requests.
Maintain inventories of promotional materials, event assets, and working with ABB Global branding team for all merchandise.
NASCAR Partnership Support
Serve as the Events / Customer Experience specialist for the NASCAR team, including attending all calls and events (via phone or in person) with NASCAR that are related to events
Serves as the primary point of contact for both our employees and customers at the events.
Lead the planning and execution strategy of three (3) VIP NASCAR race weekends, customer hospitality events, and executive experiences.
Lead the planning and execution of smaller NASCAR events across the schedule
Lead the planning and logistics strategy of eight (8) NASCAR Fuel for Hospitality race weekends.
Provide a monthly planner for the sales teams that identifies the upcoming NASCAR activities.
Assist with event activation planning alongside internal ABB Stakeholders
Support branding initiatives including signage, displays, promotional materials, apparel, and customer engagement assets. Ensure consistency with ABB brand standards throughout NASCAR activations.
Event Planning & Operations
Coordinates across business lines to the events maintain their budget requirements
Assist in planning customer events utilizing the NASCAR Partnership assets
Develop project planners with timelines and track deliverables across multiple initiatives.
Provide a post-race report to the NASCAR team after each of the three (3) activations that include areas of improvement, lessons learned, and general summary.
Ensure that each customer attending a VIP weekend is contacted verbally to review the
Coordinate and run the mandatory on-site meeting for employees during the three (3) activations
If ABB decides to have a theme for the customer events (data center, contractors, etc.), work with the teams to coordinate customers, on-site presentation during the event, etc.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate planning activities across multiple ABB Business Lines and Segment Leaders to maximize customer engagement opportunities.
Provides appropriate marketing information to support long - to mid-term decision making on sales and marketing strategy.
Support internal communication between business units involved in automotive and motorsports initiatives.
Drives sales efficiency to ensure that every salesperson possesses appropriate knowledge for the events, including product, technical and events aspects.
Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and event execution.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or similar.
4+ years of work experience in professional sports industry required, preferably in NASCAR.
Experience in professional events and customer engagement required.
Ability to travel 25-50% of the time to various ABB, customer and tradeshow events.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States.
