Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in the regional area. This role involves floating between units such as Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Antepartum, providing high-risk obstetrics care in a short-term acute care facility. The position requires availability for night shifts, on-call duties, and working every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. The shifts may start either at 3 am and 3 pm or at 11 am and 11 pm, primarily on nights or days, with advance notice provided for any schedule changes.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), relevant certifications including AWHONN Intermediate (or equivalent), BLS, and NRP. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery; experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred. At least 2 years of total patient care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating to Maternal-Child Unit (MCU) or Postpartum Surgical Care Unit (PSCU), proficiency in Epic charting system, and previous experience in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs, including units within the region such as womens services and neonatal care.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have reliable transportation for assignment. This role involves complete adherence to hospital policies, including mandatory certifications and compliance with specific procedural requirements. Prior experience working on a labor and delivery or high-risk obstetrics unit is highly valued.
