Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide specialized occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting, focusing on rehabilitation and functional improvements. Deliver high-quality care that aligns with facility standards and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients physical, emotional, and cognitive needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Implement therapeutic interventions to promote recovery, independence, and optimal functioning.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including medication administration protocols.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Arizona Occupational Therapy License with submitted fingerprint clearance card.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care environment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner charting and documentation systems.
  
  
• 
  Have BLS certification and appropriate state licensure.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to float to nearby units or facilities as needed.
  
  
• 
  Able to work a 4x10 day shift, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
