Overview:The Senior Interface Engineer is responsible for managing, monitoring, and supporting the interfaces between the EMR system and Clinical and Ancillary Systems both inside and outside the organization. The Senior Interface Engineer has an expert level of understanding of the Unix/AIX environment and HL7 Protocol. Preferred experience with Beaker interface is highly desirable.Job Description Summary:Analyses business needs, defines requirements, implements systems, and manages installed applications in a complex architecture. Provides technical and advice and guidance to team members.Job Description:Essential Functions:Carries out systems analysis and oversees the planning, design and implementation for large and complex systems ensuring business areas requirements are met.Schedules the work of systems analysts providing technical guidance and mentoring and ensures that project deadlines are met.Documents system design, testing, and maintenance procedures for future reference.
