As a Security Officer Lobby Attendant in Manhattan Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. - Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, screening and directing visitors, and supporting access control processes for a technology and media-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Monitor lobby activity, cameras, and entry points to help support security-related operations and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Verify visitor identity, issue visitor credentials when required, maintain accurate logs, and communicate clearly with employees, vendors, and guests regarding entry procedures.
- Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, and support reception-related duties while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
