Location: Honolulu, HI


Pay: $18 to $20/hour


Experience: 2 to 3+ years of general office experience required


Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience.


Type: Full-time; Contract


Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Billing Associate to join a growing and dynamic team!


Job Description:

1. Maintain direct bill receivables
2. Correspond with business associates regarding open receivables
3. Research and resolve billing and policy issues
4. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
5. Analyze and interpret accounting journals, policies, and procedures
6. Prepare journal entries
7. Perform SOX compliance duties
8. Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Position Requirements:

1. Keyboarding 35+ WPM
2. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat)
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
5. Ability to multitask and manage high-volume workloads
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Able to work well under deadlines and pressure
8. Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Accounts receivable, collections, or insurance experience
2. Guidewire Billing Center experience
