How you'll make an impact in this role

• Perform routine and complex cardiac procedures following clinical protocols to evaluate heart structures and hemodynamics.
• Setup, adjust, and manually maneuver transducers, positioning patients and tuning parameters for optimal visual output.
• Identify critical pathology, anatomical structures, and artifacts while promptly uploading accurate, high-quality images and reports to PACS.
• Enforce regulatory safety and quality control standards while maintaining clean, orderly, and compliant departmental procedure rooms and storage areas.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing
    International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Experience with Cardiac Echocardiography, Structural Heart support, Peripheral Vascular studies, Pediatrics
