This includes guests that call in to place orders, stop by and grab something to go, or sit in with us to dine./ppPays attention to guests and greeting them by making eye contact, smiling and spreading joy, while creating excitement about our brand. Positivity and friendliness are non-negotiables./ppAssists guests with any inquiries; able to educate them on menu items and any special promotions./ppHandles any guest situations with kindness and empathy, while adhering to company policy and practice is key./ppUses sound judgment regarding when to escalate guest issues to a manager for resolution./ppHas a solid knowledge and understanding of our menu, including all food products and drink selections, to be able to educate our guests and promote upselling of our offerings./ppResponsible for operating our POS system (Toast) and performing tasks such as cash handling and credit card processing with attention to accuracy./ppKnowledgeable about how to suggestively sell to enhance the guest experience and drive sales./ppResponsible for checking the quality of all the products on display./ppEnsure the merchandising and presentation of the rotation of displays for all pastries and desserts are in alignment with company direction, which includes refilling and organizing all pasties and beverages on display./ppResponsible for the preparation of all drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter./ppCleanliness is everyones focus! Responsible for keeping all areas of the store clean during and post operating business hours./ppComplete all opening, mid and closing procedures as well as daily checklist and as needed work assignments./ppWorks consistently with a high sense of urgency, honesty, integrity, and as efficiently as possible./ppWorking specific stations, as needed:/ppBarista As a part of our mission, the barista plays a crucial role in creating expertly crafted brewed goods for our guests, of the highest quality./ppPOS Directly interacting with our guests, creating a warm and welcoming experience. Additional focal points of this station are packaging pastries to standard, suggesting made to order beverages, taking togo orders and inviting guests to return./ppGreeter Where applicable, the greeter is responsible for offering a warm welcome to our guests and directing them to the appropriate area./ppMerchandiser The merchandiser is a master at work, reinforcing the delectable charm of the bakery display. The merchandiser continually focuses on re-stocking products, ensuring the displays are aesthetically pleasing and bountiful!/ppPick-Up Specialist The specialist focuses on spreading joy to our guests by ensuring all pickup and delivery orders are prepared, packaged, and fulfilled in a timely manner/ppCompleting other duties as assigned/ppWhat You Need To Have/ppAt least 1-2 years of Retail, Customer Service and food handling experience./ppHigh School Diploma/GED or Some College preferred./ppAbility to work weekends and holidays./ppPositive and passionate attitude!/ppHigh sense of integrity and ownership./ppBasic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)./ppAble to lift up to 25 lbs./ppTime management, ability to prioritize and follow direction./ppAdherence to food safety guidelines./ppUnderstand the importance of cash handling and accuracy of transactions./ppFeedback is a gift!
