Counter Sales Manager – Laguna Beach

The Laguna Beach yard is looking for a Counter Sales Manager to lead and develop their sales team.  This is an awesome opportunity to manage an existing team that features some of the company’s top performers.  Here are some of the expectations of the right candidate:

• Lead by example at all times in the areas of hospitality, sales, and professionalism
• The ability to quickly establish relationships and rapport with customers and co-workers
• Clear understanding of our company systems and best practices with the ability to execute and teach them
• Extensive Accuterm knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel
• The ability defines and teaches the sales process
• Prior experience managing people preferred.
• Experience with counter sales, inside and outside contractor sales
• Knowledge of our core products and strong relationships with key vendors
• Ability to keep composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• To be a key contributor to the yard and company-wide management teams

Since 1884, we have been a family- and employee-owned business providing building supplies and hardware for pro contractors and DIY enthusiasts alike. Our products include lumber, tools, paint, building materials, millwork, doors, and windows. With 11 convenient store locations, we serve customers throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
