Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring BLS, ACLS, and a valid KS or compact RN license. Details Work in the Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting Perform circulating duties for cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic, left heart, and right heart catheterizations Monitor and manage procedural sedation and administer related medications Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and monitor pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Floating to similar units within scope required as needed, with brief unit orientation provided Requirements Active KS or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS and ACLS certifications required in hand Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab nursing experience required EPIC charting experience preferred Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Travel pairs or groups will not be considered Former staff members must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, as locals are not accepted No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
