Job Description
TITLE: Registered Nurse - Radiation Oncology

SCHEDULE: Working 4-10's; weekdays

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS:
- RN with current Colorado license in good standing
- BLS through American Heart Association
- ACLS through American Heart Association
- At least 2 years of RN Radiation Oncology experience

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology Team to provide continuity and quality patient care.
- Assess and provide appropriate nursing interventions for patients experiencing issues related to the disease process and treatment.
- Assist in teaching, counseling, and providing support to patients and families coping with cancer diagnosis and treatment.
- Serve as a liaison between Radiation Oncology and other healthcare providers, ensuring cohesive patient care.
- Evaluate and examine patients alongside the Radiation Oncologist.
- Provide referrals for alternative resources, including rehabilitation, nursing home care, hospice, and nutritional services.
