Generalist:

We are seeking an OB/GYN Physician who can provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality, safe and patient-centric care, personalized to each and every patient. The successful candidate will possess clinical abilities as demonstrated through training, education, certification and experience, strong interpersonal communication, leadership and organizational skills, embrace the teaching mission of the MSHS and qualify for an academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The candidate needs to possess a current NYS medical license. The ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for academic setting and teaching. The Department consists of over 40 full time and voluntary board-certified physicians providing care to the diverse community served by Mount Sinai West. As a member of the of the MSHS and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, we are able to offer the professional benefits of a major academic/research medical center. With over 6,000 deliveries per year, the Department supports 24 residents in a four-year residency program and an active teaching program for third-year medical students from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. All OB/Gyn sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Science. The Division of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science invites applications for

tenure-track or tenured faculty

positions at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. We seek outstanding candidates with demonstrated excellence in clinical or translational research in obstetrics, gynecology, or reproductive science. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai offers an exciting research environment that is highly collaborative and with world-class shared research facilities. Qualified candidates must hold a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD with a strong record or established research funding, including NIH grants. The successful candidates are expected to establish a dynamic and independently funded research program, as well as to support and participate in collaborative cutting-edge research throughout the medical school.
