1st and 2nd Shift Job Summary:
- MIG weld on mild steel from 20 gauge up to ¼” thickness
- Complete weld jobs using different fixtures/jigs, open table set up, and work instructions.
- Ability to read weld symbols, blueprints, and perform necessary job set ups to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Ability to qualify to necessary weld specifications including AWS, ASME IX, and NAVSEA welding certifications.
- Able to use conventional and precision measuring tools.
- Follow safety rules and use safe work practices.
- Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications, and instructions.
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment and machines.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, while following safety regulations.
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/welding environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of work shift
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work overtime if needed.
