Key Responsibilities Managing and supervising the emergency services nursing team to ensure quality care and adherence to best practices. Developing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and protocols. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Monitoring and evaluating staff performance, providing mentorship and support for professional growth. Overseeing scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to maintain optimal department functionality. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Acting as a liaison between the emergency department and other hospital units or administration. Required Skills and Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in emergency services. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Current nursing licensure in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain).
