Real Estate Title and Survey Senior Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Real Estate Title and Survey Senior Attorney in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, preferably from a large law firm or national title company. This role involves managing and coordinating title and survey reviews for complex commercial real estate transactions, working closely with various stakeholders to resolve issues and support successful closings. Duties Lead and coordinate title and survey review for the Real Estate practice. Review title commitments and related documents, analyzing and summarizing title exceptions. Collaborate with deal attorneys to evaluate title matters and develop practical solutions. Manage the title and survey review process across multiple transactions. Supervise and mentor paralegals responsible for title and survey review. Advise attorneys on complex title insurance and survey matters. Requirements Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a large law firm or national title company. Strong understanding of title insurance and survey matters. Proven ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Education Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Member of the Bar in the United States. Skills Excellent communication and analytical skills. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
