Duration: 16 weeks
Work Schedule: Day/Evening/Night (5x8 and 3x12)
Pay rate : $40 - $45/hr.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Description:
  Facility Location: 3700 Vestal Rd, Vestal, NY 13850
  * CANNOT Change Shift OR add RTO Once Offered! *
  Start Date:Start dates are every 2 weeks due to orientation schedule
  Shift: 8hr Shifts, 5 days per week - daysCANNOT CHANGE SHIFT ONCE OFFERED
  Ratios: 1:18-20 - 300 bed facility
  Years of Experience REQ:1 year plus of LTC / Skilled Nursing experience
  • Alzheimer's & Dementia Patient population
  First-Timers Accepted: Yes
  Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required upon center request
  Certs REQ: BLS
  Will this traveler need to float between like units?: N/A
  Open to accommodating block schedule?: N/A
  Locals Accepted: Yes
  LICENSE:Must have NY State License - NO LICENSE HITS ALLOWED
  ***MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION***
  RTO Restrictions: RTO ONLY APPROVED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. WILL NOT APPROVE AFTER OFFERED. Cannot take every holiday off
  **ANY CALL OUTS MUST BE GIVEN WITH AMPLE NOTICE, MORE THAN 24hrs PRIOR**
  Compliance takes 1.5-2 weeks
  Requirements:
  Active license (state)
  Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
  Must be able to pass a medication administration (med pass) test and clinical observation
  Strong attendance and punctuality required
  Responsibilities:
  Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  Perform medication passes accurately and safely
  Monitor and report changes in resident condition
  Complete timely and accurate documentation
  Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies
  Supervise CNAs on assigned units

  Modules: Once your offer is accepted, the client will send Relias module access via email within 48 hours. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it. The client requires that modules are started as soon as possible and fully completed no later than 3 days prior to your assignment start date.
