Job Description
Registered Nurse - LTC

Schedule

8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, every other weekend required. Start dates are every two weeks due to orientation schedule.

Assignment Details

40 hours per week. Requires proof of active New York State nursing license at the time of submission. Compliance takes 1.5-2 weeks.

Requirements

• Active New York State nursing license (no license hits allowed)
• Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be able to pass a medication administration test and clinical observation
• Strong attendance and punctuality required

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform medication passes accurately and safely
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Supervise CNAs on assigned units

Compliance / Notes

Requests for Time Off (RTO) only approved at the time of submission. Call-outs must be given with ample notice, more than 24 hours prior. Cannot take every holiday off.
