Account Strategist

Account Strategist Coalmarch | Full-Time | Accounts Team As an Account Strategist on our Base Pod, you'll manage a portfolio of 40–60 small business clients within the home services industry, working closely with our SEO, Digital Ads, Products, and Development teams. This pod is built for candidates who thrive on organization and volume — you'll run a high-functioning book of business with lighter-touch client cadences and a strong emphasis on SEO fundamentals, keeping every account on track without sacrificing the client experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing many moving pieces at once, and confident translating digital marketing performance into business outcomes clients actually care about. What You'll Do: At the highest level, you'll own the marketing strategy from start to finish, adjusting it as needed based on a deep understanding of each client's goals, needs, and digital marketing strategy. Serve as the primary point of contact for your portfolio of Base Pod clients, building trust and championing their performance. Create meeting agendas and lead regular client meetings to review performance, deliver updates, and discuss next steps. Translate digital marketing performance — with an emphasis on SEO — into business outcomes and explain results in a clear, client-friendly manner. Manage the successful and ongoing execution of client projects, coordinating the completion of tasks by the SEO, Design, Development, and Digital Ads teams. Coordinate client requests and manage communication between clients and internal teams. Draft meeting recaps, action items, and strategic recommendations following client discussions. Monitor client performance metrics and stay informed on SEO and digital advertising updates and industry trends. Collaborate with other departments to develop client improvement plans and retention strategies. Maintain organized, accurate documentation and account records within our project management systems (ClickUp). Actively participate in your pod, working with a consistent group of teammates on a shared tier of clients. Qualifications: 1–2 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Account Management, Project Management, or a related client-facing role. Previous digital marketing agency experience is highly preferred. Foundational understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing performance metrics. Proven ability to manage a high volume of client accounts simultaneously without letting details slip. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Ability to lead client meetings and present performance results confidently. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities. Familiarity with client retention and relationship management practices. Willingness to learn new technologies and AI tools. Bonus points if you have experience with ClickUp, Google Analytics, or Google Search Console.
