Lead CT Technologist

This role involves providing high-quality imaging services as a CT technologist, performing a wide range of technical procedures, including advanced protocols like TAVR and Cardiac CTA, with independence and critical judgment. Responsibilities Include Verifying clinician orders, obtaining patient history, and administering contrast media safely. Ensuring proper patient identification, labeling, and image quality review. Responding to emergencies, maintaining patient comfort, and applying age-appropriate procedures. Setting up equipment, positioning patients, and performing post-processing of advanced scans. Maintaining departmental workflow, managing supplies, and supporting regulatory compliance. Mentoring fellow technologists, participating in quality control, and ensuring continuous departmental improvement. Communicating effectively with patients and staff, addressing concerns, and participating in training. Qualifications Include Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT Radiography and CT certifications, along with BLS certification. At least 2 years of clinical experience, including 1 year in CT. Strong communication skills, ability to work independently under pressure, and proficiency in all aspects of CT imaging and protocols.
