Teacher - Learning Behavior Specialist

Description District 39 is looking for a Learning Behavior Specialist who is focused on children’s needs, possesses high energy, initiative, and flexibility, and has strong interpersonal skills. Candidates should have knowledge and experience in data collection, assessment, and a variety of instructional methods for teaching academic, behavioral, and social-emotional skills. Teachers are expected to engage in reflective teaching practices and pursue continuous self‑improvement. Qualifications Valid IL educator licensure with LBSI endorsement required. Compensation and Benefits $61,877.70 (full‑time) minimum annually with benefits. Actual compensation is based on education and experience. Benefits for this position include: Health insurance Dental insurance Long‑term disability insurance Life insurance Tuition reimbursement for graduate‑level courses in the field of education Retirement savings benefits for Tier 2 TRS employees All applicable benefits can be found in the current WEA contractual bargaining agreement.
