The Endocrinology Division at our organization is seeking to hire an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position involves engaging in clinical practice while also providing educational support to students, residents, and fellows.
Key Responsibilities and Opportunities:
- Engage in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences covering topics such as thyroid, pituitary, and pathology.
- Gain exposure to a diverse range of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center.
- Collaborate with a dedicated diabetes education team , which includes Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES) .
- Utilize an ultrasonography suite for conducting thyroid ultrasounds and fine needle aspirations (FNAs).
- Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research.
- Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Explore opportunities to specialize in particular areas of endocrinology, such as thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, or transgender medicine, if desired.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- MD/DO or equivalent, with board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
- A strong dedication to education and teaching .
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary setting .
The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from $200,000 to $220,000, with the potential for incentive bonuses.
